Hope Spalding

Owner/Manager

As a kid, Hope was always involved in different sporting activities and found a passion for fitness in High School. During her senior years she decided to study a Certificate III & IV in fitness whist doing her HSC.

After school, Hope bought the gym to be able to provide the community with a gym that catered for everyones needs within one membership.

Now, Hope has 3 young boys, continues to run the gym, instruct classes, and studies her Batchelor of Exercise Sports Science all whist being a busy mum.

      I have always loved being physically active, from riding my bike for hours on end as a kid and getting involved in as many sports both in school and out. In my first year out of school my love for weight lifting took off and it was then I decided to go to university and study a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Masters of Exercise Physiology. During my years at university I became qualified in my cert 3/4 in fitness and worked as a personal trainer for 4 years.

      I have now been working as an Exercise Physiologist for nearly 5 years now. I continue to love what I do, the way I can make such a positive change to individuals with chronic conditions is amazing.

        Laura's introduction to group fitness came shortly after the birth of her third daughter. With a goal of getting fit, losing some baby weight and being a healthy role model for her kids high on her priorities, she quickly became a regular face amongst the group fitness members!

        When the opportunity to manage the group fitness studio became availble, Laura was quick to jump at the chance and looked at it as an opportunity to motivate, encourage and help others with their fitness journey.

        Laura's passion is to make people feel welcome, not scared and to just enjoy moving their bodies to get strong and healthy.

        Afton was a regular participant in our group fitness classes when her kids were younger, she loved the social aspect of going to class then going for a coffee and catch up with other members after class. After about 2 years, as she was studing her Certificae IV in Fitness, she started using the gym a bit more and found a love and passion for strength training & how lifting heavy weights can change your body, and help your mental health.

        Donna is a mum of two with an appreciation of staying physically active. Over the years she has tried her hand at various sporting activities and events including Around the Bay in a Day, Arthurs Seat Run, Triathlon’s, Netball, Badminton, Soccer, Muay Thai and Ju Jitsu. A long-time gym participant and first fell in love with group fitness classes over 20 years ago when living in Melbourne. Became an instructor after moving back to Deniliquin and loves strengthening through the Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates aspects of Body Balance and the intensity challenge that comes from indoor bike classes without the impact on joints.

        Jo grew upriding horses, snow skiing, playing tennis and netball. After finishing high school she worked as a snow ski instructor in Mt Hotham, Whistler Blackcomb in Canada and Telluride Colorado USA.

        Now She lives back on teh farm with her family.

        She is busy running her two young kids around to do their sports, and wouldnt have it any other way.
