Activ8 Health & Rehab Clinic is owned and managed by Barb Anderson an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. Barb is an allied health professional who is a trained member of the health and medical sector and specializes in graded exercise testing, functional assessments, musculoskeletal assessments, the delivery of exercise for the prevention and management of chronic disease and injuries which is research based. Barb provides support for clients with conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, mental health problems, cancer pre-during-post treatment, arthritis, pulmonary disease, rehabilitation and exercise lifestyle education and interventions.

Barb is registered with Medicare, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Work Cover and most Private Health Insurers.

With an extensive range of rehabilitation equipment including gait trainers, parallel bars, hand therapy, among other things.

Barb runs a falls preventions class on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at the RSL sporting complex, starting at 10.30am the class lasts 1 hour and is followed by a social cup of tea.

The class has been running for over three years and participants have been very successful and love the social aspect of the group class.
